Negotia ("we," "our," or "us") is a mobile application developed and operated by MintyGum LLC, a Delaware-registered limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary for the app to function:

  • Name: Collected when you first start the app and stored locally on your device to personalize your experience.
  • Usage Data: Events, feature interactions, and anonymous analytics are collected via Mixpanel to improve the product experience.
  • Attribution Data: Appsflyer helps us understand where our users come from and measure app performance. This may include your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS or GAID on Android) where permitted by your device settings.
  • Purchase Data: RevenueCat processes subscriptions (Premium Weekly / Premium Monthly) and consumable purchases (10, 55, 120 Gems). We do not store your payment details; all transactions are handled by Apple and Google.
  • Device & Technical Data: Basic technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, and country is automatically collected by our analytics and attribution providers (Mixpanel and Appsflyer) to help us understand product performance and improve user experience.

2. Local Storage & Account Behavior

Negotia does not use authentication or cloud accounts. All data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage.

If you delete the app or switch devices, your local progress and consumable purchases may be lost. Active subscriptions can be restored through the restore option available in the app.

3. Artificial Intelligence Usage

Negotia uses Grok, an AI model developed by xAI, to simulate negotiation conversations.

When you interact with AI scenarios in the app, the messages you send are transmitted to xAI for processing in order to generate responses. We do not store these conversations on our own servers, and xAI's handling of this data is governed by their own privacy policy.

While the app is designed using recognized negotiation and persuasion principles, AI responses may contain factual or reasoning errors. You should not consider AI responses as professional, psychological, legal, financial, or academic advice. See our Disclaimer for more details.

4. User-Generated Scenarios

Premium users can create their own scenarios. The content of these scenarios (text, tone, and context) is entirely the responsibility of the user. Negotia does not moderate or verify these contents.

5. No Advertising

We do not display third-party advertisements or sell user data to advertisers.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Since Negotia does not maintain user accounts, deleting the app automatically removes all stored data from your device.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability and to object to processing.

Because Negotia does not maintain user accounts and stores all personal data locally on your device, you can exercise most of these rights directly by managing or uninstalling the app. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to request deletion. We do not sell personal information.

9. Children's Privacy

Negotia is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available within the app or on our website.
